You could also throw Miguel Tejada into the conversation, but he might end up in jail, and never got the publicity of the other three. When we were kids, If we wanted a cookie, we ate a friggin cookie! Naked Sports People, Nude! Those shirts just go to show you how insane and bitter some Sox fans really are.. Jeter is not overated. I couldn't agree more about how inappropriate those shirts are. Superheroes, ranked by singing ability.
And without Jeter, part of that history would leave. There is one major disparity in this argument though. Who ever wrote this your a bum. But,that is why Jeter has held such an incredible reputation since his MLB debut in When you outpace the competition to that degree, you have to be measured against a different standard.
How A-Rod managed to become one of the most polarizing players in MLB history - jbrady.info

He is respected by his teammates and all the other players in baseball so much so that he has been given the prestigious and rarely given title of captain of the New York Yankees. I hope they don't want to trade me, because I don't want to go anywhere. Brian Cashman was so concerned with clubhouse chemistry he admitted to CC Sabathia that the clubhouse was a mess, and asked him to fix it. Yet another error, what a putz.
He went to the Yankees, where he was no longer the big fish in the little pond, and got raked over the coals for underperforming in the playoffs until last year. George Steinbrenner's statement afterward that Red Sox owner John Henry should be "embarrassed, frustrated and disappointed by his failure in this transaction" cemented the Yankees as the "Evil Empire" and now A-Rod was the centerpiece of the most polarizing team in sports. He also has just as many, if not more, who despise him. Who knew what he was going to do. And then Jeter will go out and hit. Then the Yankees swooped in and got a deal done for him instead, sending young second baseman Alfonso Soriano and a player to be named later Joaquin Arias.
