Homostupids fucked up review

That's a pretty good career so far. Even sadder is the fact the label is going to do up a double CD joint of I guess every beer fart these guys ever did. Two guys in leather jackets, blue jeans, with knives, baseball caps and one microphone. You know, I think you look a bit like a woman anyway, so if you slept with me it wouldn't be entirely homosexual - we could just pretend you're the girl and I'm the boy. At various points this album reminds me of Thin Lizzy, Kenickie, Weezer, The Wedding Present, Tony Molina, J Church and Kirsty MacColl, most of whom are being mentioned in this column for the first time; Martha are as joyously tricky to compartmentalise as the queer kids they toast in song. The compilation is released!!

Stella is still at heart a pop-punk LP. The whole record has a Velvet Underground vibe to it as well. There are a couple of videos from this album on Youtube. Oh no, these Spaniards keep it light and breezy in a pop punk vehicle that takes to the road quick but eases up on the curves. Just click on this link.

Dusted Features [ Still Single: Vol. 2, No. 5 ]

Davidson does a heroic job of making records — ones, in many cases, lost to the cutout bin or Amazon warehouse by the vagaries of fashion — sound primal and essential. More dancey and aggressive than their first album, but also not as complete as a whole. The Mistreaters just released a live record on Kevin's own Dusty Medical Records, and its cool as hell, in fact by early next week you can purchase it right here on bigneckrecords. Aaron was stumbling around stage like he was in a trance, whipping his guitar everywhere. The title track starts with a Blitz "Warriors" nick and then and settles into a punchy mid-tempo pounder. I will say this the Radio Beats rocked out at every venue, even Dan got on the mic to do a Reatards cover and damn did it sound fine.
Which is a damn shame because there are only about half a dozen bands worth a fuck to me here in Phoenix and they were one of them. Anyway, this group is massively underrated and you should be ashamed for not noticing them. As for the song title, it seems to be neither, but at the same time both. The music is guitar heavy pop tunes with a rock edge but can also get pretty breezy at times too. Move over Briefs fans, BX3 are kicking down doors and proving that it takes more than fucked up hair cuts and sunglasses to rock out OK so they have them too. You can argue the Death By Televison template is still there, but now the Lillingtons show a lot more melodicism, better production, with nods to rock and alternative. Boys Order is a very perky trio from Osaka, Japan.
