PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS:Tuesday will be partly sunny and a little warmer, with high temperatures making it into the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be a bit more of a factor compared to yesterday, with gusts around 15mph or so, especially northwest of Madison Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Another cool evening is expected with temperatures falling into the upper 40s/lower 50s Tuesday night.
EXTENDED FORECAST:The quiet conditions continue through Wednesday of the upcoming work week; temperatures will steadily climb to the low 80s by Wednesday. Each morning, there may be patchy fog but widespread, dense fog is not expected. Starting Thursday through the upcoming weekend, rain chances return though heavy rain or severe weather is not expected. The best chances of rain will be with a cold front Thursday evening, when a few thunderstorms are possible. An unseasonably chilly weekend is ahead, with low temperatures in the lower to middle 40s, with high temperatures in the 60s. Temperatures will slowly warm up next week.
